The draws for the Eurojackpot lottery take place every Friday in Helsinki, Finland, at 20:00 CET (19:00 GMT/BST / 21:00 EET).

Can I still participate in Eurojackpot if I am not a resident of Finland or any of the other participating countries?

Of course, you can! We give you the opportunity to bet on the outcome of the Eurojackpot lottery, rather than purchase a ticket. But don’t worry, the prize amounts are still the same. So, if your numbers match those of the actual lottery, you will still win the same prize as if you purchased a ticket.

What is the history of Eurojackpot?

The Eurojackpot lottery started back in 2012, on March 17, when tickets first started being sold. The first Eurojackpot draw which ever took place was just 6 days later, on March 23, 2012. The first participating countries were Germany, Finland, Denmark, Slovenia, Italy, the Netherlands, and Estonia. Spain joined the party in 2012, and Iceland, Latvia, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, and Lithuania joined in 2013. Hungary and the Czech Republic were added to the list in 2014, Slovakia in 2015, and Poland in 2017.

How do I play Eurojackpot?

To place your bets on the Eurojackpot lottery, you just need to go on our Eurojackpot page, select 5 numbers between 1 and 50, and 2 bonus numbers between 1 and 10, and finalize your transaction. Are there minimum and maximum jackpot amounts?

The minimum jackpot amount is €10 million, which already sounds wonderful. If the jackpot is not won, it continues to roll over until it reaches the capping of €90 million.
